I obtained a loan with citifinancial in 2007..they key here to all people who have loans with Citi is to call them make arrangements over the phone to pay you car payment..post date a check they hold it as long as needed and you won't have any troubles. It will cost 14.95 but it's well worht it if your payments are going to be late! I have been using this tatic for 2.5 yrs and they never reported me late! I too have had had financial probs. and I had to do the 6 month cut your payment in half. But I have never had any prob. with them!

Years ago, my husband unexpectedly lost his job right after we had just bought a new car. The fist thing he did was call the financing company to let them know and to make arrangements for payment. They were very cooperative and it all worked out in the end.
