Baby R US / Toys R Us Complaint - Don't Buy Their Egift Card!
I purchase a $200 E Gift Card for my brother online from Baby R Us back in March of 2010. Just last week we found out we were not able to use the E Gift card from the printed emails they send you because the stores keep on insisting that the email should include some kind of bar code.
I been calling Baby R Us since last week and trying to get them to send me this bar code and all I got from them are the run around. Someone will get back to you within 24 hrs. I get that on every call and yet nobody calls me after 24 hours. The last time I spoke to them was 2 days ago and they said someone was going to get hold of me within 24 hrs and have it resolve for me. Well, that was 2 days ago and I still have not heard from anybody.
I am at a point which I am thinking if I can press criminal charges on these people. They took my $200 back in March and has giving me nothing but a bunch of useless emails and broken promises. No wonder nobody shops at Toys R Us anymore.
