EBay Complaint - Ebay Resolution Center is Incompetent.
I bought a product on Ebay and was notified by eBay that the manufacturer informed them the product the seller was marketing was fake. Ebay then requested that I file with the Resolution center for a full refund and that Ebay had removed the seller site and contact information, and that I would not be able to communicate with the seller. Not having experienced this kind of thing before: I followed their advice.
Ebay opened a case saying I have never received the item. Not true! I had not received it at the time eBay contacted me which was the day after I made the purchase, and was not what I had entered into their from. I tried sending Ebay a communication saying that is not what I had posted. The person who responded sent a generic response clearly not reading anything that I had wrote. I tried sending several more requests to get the story straight to no avail. Every response I received from Ebay indicated that nobody had read my emails or the messages I posted in the Resolutions center.
I did receive the item and it was as advertised. Real and satisfactory!
Ebay closed that complaint and opened a new one saying the item did not arrive as described.
Again, not true.
I have started to correct them yet again about what they are stating. I am trying to set the record straight, but Ebay clearly does not read anything or the employee's are illiterate.
So beware of fakes, but Seller's beware of Ebay. I find this whole experience disturbing and I have been a customer since they started doing business.
I have always preferred Ebay to Amazon, but will look on Amazon first from now on.
It is Ebay I question now!
