Best Buy Complaint - Geek squad is stink squad
LACEY, WASHINGTON -- We bought a 37" flat screen from Best Buy. After 18 months the bottom 1/3 had a big blue line running through it. We took it in to the Geek Squad they said no problem that it was under warranty. The Geek Squad saw the problem before it left for repairs. The repair center in Renton said they could not replicate the problem so they did some preventive maintance. Less than a week later the problem occurred, we were told to get pictures of the problem and send the TV and the pictures back to the repair shop. 2 weeks later we were told that this was no longer under warranty and that it would cost $750 to fix. We only paid $350 for the TV. After 3 weeks of talking and getting frustated we told them we will no longer shop at their store. Best Buy will not stand by the brand nor will they stand by their product. The customer service dept is a joke, so be aware of Best Buy and their product and Geek Squad!!!
