Time Warner Complaint - Frustrated and Unsatisfied
WISCONSIN -- I won't waste much of your time, especially if you intend to sign on with Time Warner because they will waste enough of your time themselves.
A month and a half ago I spent more than 4 hours trying to hook up my wireless cable. The customer service employees I spoke with were incompetent. The call disconnected numerous times and each time I tried to work with a technician they repeated the steps, accomplishing nothing.
As for my cable television, my service is interrupted nearly ever day. Sometimes it's just a few minutes of power outages, other times, I need to reboot my cable box. I have to reboot my cable box every other day, sometimes twice a day. The cable often freezes and I have to return to it hours later because rebooting doesn't even correct the problem. Tonight was the last straw for me. I turned on my TV and discovered that the cable box wouldn't turn on. I should just add Time Warner's number to the favorites on my phone because I call it so often. ... I call Time Warner to speak to a representative. The representative informs me that there is an upgrade occurring in my area. I asked him what this upgrading entails and he informs me that it's nothing to concern me, it's for the company. I then asked him when this upgrade will be complete and his answer is. "Sometimes it takes 6 hours." I sarcastically thanked him for the head's up.
I have never had a problem such as this with AT&T. I'm going to switch back to AT&T immediately and I suggest you waste no time with Time Warner and do the same.
