Wal-Mart Complaint - Pharmacy
LYNCHBURG, VIRGINIA -- I went to get a medication filled and it was 8:15 pm and dropped off prescription and the medication was filled and I paid for it and left the store to go home and when I got home I counted the medication and the pills were 3 short, I called the store and the pharmacy was closed. the next morning I called the pharmacy and talked to 3 people before I got some one , when I talked to the pharmacist I explained the shortage of medication and was told that could not take care of this because it was a pain medication for dental surgery, and that they got calls all the time about shortage of medication on drugs. the law states that with certain medications that once it leaves the store nothing can be done. I am aware of this, but that was the least of my worries when I was really short on medication and did not lie as I was very upset and raise my voice when was told could not take care of this because drug addicts call all the time to try and get meds. this was a quote by the person on the other end of the phone this time I got upset. I am telling the truth, people need to be careful as to how they call people certain things and not judge others by certain behavior of others.
