Performance Engineering Complaint - Do Not Use Performance Engineering

Review by unsatisfied01 on 2010-07-15
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN -- I was referred to this company by one of my best friends who knows the owner and unfortunately I was charged $340.00 and still have the exact same problem.

I explained to them that I had a leak in my central air unit before they came out. However when they came to my house they didn't have enough gas and had to get more which I was charged the time that it took to go and get the gas as well as being over charged for the gas. The owner of the company agreed that I was over charged for the gas and promised a refund that I never received.

Also, they tightened the valve where the gas is put in and assumed that it was fixed. I was not convinced and told them that "there is a leak somewhere". they assured me that they found the leak and that it was fixed. Now here it is $340.00 and a month later and the gas has leaked out. I called them and they said they will only charge me for labor to fix the leak. The leak that they should have fixed the first time. So now I wasted $340.00 on gas and now they want to charge me labor to fix the leak and then charge me again to put gas back in. I paid them to come out and fix a leak and they didn't fix it. Now they want to come and fix it for an additional charge? Why would I pay a company to come back and fix something that they didn't fix in the first place?

This company has no pride or guarantee in their work. This is a very unprofessional company that I will never use again or refer to anyone. Don't waste your money!
