Applebee's Compliment - Excellent dinner and service - Burgers
Burgers - Compliment
CHEHALIS, WISCONSIN -- Following an exectionally profitable 'yard' sale in Chehalis, in the Yardbirds Mall, we decided to eat out as we were both very tired. I had been seeing Applebee's ads for a Cowboy Burger for some time. Now, we ate at the Applebee's in Olympia, WA when we first moved up here, and were very unhappy. A "2 for $20" special ended up costing us over $40, and the service was underwhelming. Tonight, the Chehalis Applebee's more than made up for the fiasco in Olympia. I had the Cowboy Burger and my wife had the bacon cheeseburger. Both came hot and juicy, and just as ordered, Crystal's was plain, meaning bacon, beef patty and cheese, just as she likes it. I tell them to drag mine through the garden, but forgot to tell them to hold the tomato. Both burgers came with a healthy portion of fires that were hot, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. the wait staff performed their jobs terrifically, and the waitresses were taken with our Hearing Assist dogs Two big thums up for Applebee's, Chehalis.

Apparently, I did not put the state, so the program put that this was in Wisconsin. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is Chehalis, Washington!

Nice review Star, I have not been to an applebees for a few years now the one near me went down hill a long time ago I might give em a try again.

I don't want to rain on your parade Star. I'm glad that you were satisfied with your dining experience at Applebee's. Perhaps in your area they are good but in the Philly area they suck. I have tried 4 different locations and they're all bad. Mostly kids working there who simply don't care. More like a high-end Burger King with horrible food, dirty bathrooms and lousy customer service. Simply put a bottom end chain restaurant with high prices and lousy food. I refuse to return there again.

Good review Starlord. I never cared for the Applebees that I went to in our neighborhood. There just didnt' seem to be much to choose from on their menu (Much like Olive Garden) and the food wasn't anything that made me want to ever go back for. The only reason we went there was because we got some free coupons as a 'weclome gift' when we moved into the area...yeah, it was free and it still wasn't worth going for, so you know it had to be pretty bad. I'm just glad I didnt' have to pay for the meals. But as with any other resturant, it can differ depending on who's running the place and the different locations.

I know someone in PA who stopped going to Applebees for the same reasons you stated, ok4now. I think location is everything with these chain restaurants.
