Gateway Complaint - By far the worst company I have ever dealt with
I wish I had found this site before ordering my computer and my nightmare began. Customer Service is terrible. They don't answer your questions, they don't return calls. My computer doesn't work and I can't get it fixed. I ordered it early December, 2004, and was guaranteed it would arrive by Christmas. It did not. In fact, it was lost for several days. I cancelled it before they found it since I found their Customer Service so terrible. I cancelled it three times before it was shipped, and they shipped it anyway. I would have to pay for shipping to send it back, so unfortunately, I kept it. Software I ordered and paid for is missing, the wrong software for my hardware has been installed, and my cd/dvd drive does not work. To let them have a crack at fixing it, I have to pay to send it to them.
Whatever you do, do NOT purchase from Gateway. Truly, truly terrible.
