Vonage Complaint - Vonage service - Phone service
We had Vonage for over 1.5 years. The service was not very good at all. It was fuzzy at times (we have very good high speed Internet) and ther customer service sucks. We had no phone service so we called up Vonage to find out what was going on. They had us do all these things. Nothing fixed the problem. They told us they would get back to us. So every other day we called them back. Since no one was calling us. Oh wait there was an automated message sent to my email ever other day saying they were working on it (lies). Every time we called they did the same thing. Finally after over a week of no service we got to talk to a tech who knew what he was doing and he fixed the problem (yep nothing we did wrong it was an error in their equipment). Then he gave us a two week comp (supposedly) Well he didn't and we tried to cancel and even though I was told we had a one year contract we had to pay a fee that no one ever told us about because it was before two years (40 dollars) Do not go with Vonage their customer service is horrid, when you have a problem they don't know how to fix anything and only can read off a prompter that probably won't help you and than just leave you with no phone. Don't go with Vonage unless you want crappy service!
