MattressLand of Springfield VA Complaint - Beware of old bed parts

Review by gbhtsjb44 on 2010-07-17
SPRINGFIELD, VIRGINIA -- Bought an expensive electronic adjustable base for King bed. It cost over $3K! Turns out it was used, pieced together from other beds, and almost 6 years old...yet sold to me as New! When it broke, they would NOT replace it...hung up on me. After I had it repaired (because I needed a bed), over a month later I had written to Tempurpedic and Tempurpedic wrote me back telling me what they did was illegal and directed MattressLand to replace it which they did finally agree to do. BEWARE...If you feel compelled to go to this place, definitely check the serial numbers on the frames, and make sure he's not selling you an old frame/base, made up of old bed parts like he did with me. If you already bought an electronic base or bases from him, call the manufacturer and ask them to check the serial number. They will tell you the age of the base. If you want to write me with questions pls do. I have all the proof (photos/technicians report) and will share.
