Dales A1 Transmission Complaint - Don't take your car here

Review by dtmjay on 2010-07-17
MITCHELL, SOUTH DAKOTA -- After having a manual transmission rebuilt at this establishment, the fist sign of trouble was when I picked up my truck and was told that reverse was alittle tight and would shift hard for a little while but would loosen up. I couldn't get it into reverse and took it back after one day - was told they tried to reuse top plate that was all bent out of shape and would have to order a new one. Towards the end of my warranty I started having problems with 2nd gear and was told that the owner was busy on the race circuit and it would have to wait 2 months. Waited 2 months and on my way in the tranny blew. Didn't cover any of it and did about 2500 dollars damage to my truck and wanted to charge me to fix it. Took my truck and went to the dealer to get it fixed. Am sueing them now for the damage done to my truck.
