Complaint - Sends/Charges for Unwanted Items

Review by food4thought2 on 2010-07-19
I ordered the Bender Ball -- a sit up aide that helps alleviate back strain -- and the next thing I know I'm being charged monthly for DVDs I didn't order (I did get them and sent them back at my expense). Both times I called to inquire, I dealt with people who were rude -- and clearly used to dealing with customers they're duping. Just and awful company and awful practice. BEWARE -- DON'T GET IN THEIR DATABASE!

Buy purchasing the product off of their website it's like the Time Life CD deals. They send you the first ones and then continue to send you and charge you for stuff until you cancel.
They do sell the Bender Ball in Bed Bath and Beyond if you have one near you.

Supplementing to "mervw" comment, this is why you should get a pseudo credit card number that can be used only one time. When they try to charge your card the 2nd time, the transaction will not go through. Very useful to prevent identity theft. Credit cards such as, BoA and Chase, can create a random pseudo number and you can use it when shopping online.
