Sportsmagick Complaint - Shady Business Practices
I ordered (2) prints to be shipped to my home. When they arrived, I discovered that I had ordered them w/o frames by mistake. I emailed the company to ask them for advice, after 4 days without a response, I called them. They shipped (2) frames to me for $160. $120 for the frames, $40 for the shipping. It has been 10 days and I'm still w/o the frames. My wife discovered through their website that if we would have ordered the prints framed, the out the door price (on their website) would be $189.00. To this point, I have paid $160 for the frames and $86.00 for the prints; a total of $246.00. Shipping is included in all figures. I again called and was told that a manager would return my phone call... that never happened. I called them again today and was told that the $246 was correct. I understand that I have to eat the $17 shipping fee on the order that I made by mistake, so my adjusted price should be $229. I'm still owed a $40 refund. I was told by the guy answering the phones that at first it was my fault for ordering the prints w/o frames, then I was told that what they charged me barely made them any profit, then I was told that it was a mistake with their shipping codes... but in the end it was my problem and not theirs. Terrible company, pathetic customer service, shady business practices. I'll tell anyone who will listen to not do business with this scam.
