I bought a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant in 2007 and this is my second Galant which I bought from the same dealership. I love the way this car performs with exception of the air conditioner. This the second time I have had problems with the air conditioning system but with two different cars. The first one I had was a 2004 and in 2006 the air went out. There were pin holes or something in the lines......Orr Chevrolet covered the bill because it appeared to be a defect in the system. I decided that I loved this car so much I purchased another one in 2007, now here it is three years later and the air conditioner is gone out of this one. The condenser is leaking. I don't understand why this keeps happening. I will not buy another Galant no matter how well they perform.. because I know I will eventually have problems with the air conditioning system. I think the manufacturer should do a recall on the all models of this car between years of 2004-2008 just to check to see if there are any problems. I have done my own little survey among people I know who have purchased a Galant at one time or another and 3 out of the 4 people had problems with the air conditioner. I really would appreciate if someone could do something about this. I work full time only in the summer because I attend school and I can't afford 750.00 to have it fixed; it's way too hot to be riding around in a 2006 and not have air. Please do something about this. I love dealing with the people at Orr Chevolet/Mitsubishi, I am not complaining about them, but the manufactor of this vehicle.
