Staples Complaint - Complaint - toshiba net book
ESCANABA, MICHIGAN -- On July 13 2010 I purchased a Toshiba netbook from Staples in Escanaba, Michigan. I was pleased with the salesman but when I got home and tried to set it up I made an error. Less than two hours had gone by and when I called for advice, I was blown off. They had made the sale and were completely indifferent to my problem. In fact, the technician made me believe that since it was Windows 7, there was a lock and the company would have to be contacted and a disk would be needed to solve the problem. There was no mention of my bringing it in and their maybe taking a look at it.
I contacted Just Computers in Manistique, Michigan. I took it to them and the problem was solved in less than ten minutes. I like Staples' products but their service after the sale is extremely poor. Their appreciation of their customers is sadly lacking.
