All Sports and Golf Gifts Complaint - Poor Customer Service
On 7/6/10, I placed an order on line for a Denver Broncos Gift Basket. The website indicated 2-3 shipping days. This was a birthday gift for a friend. I called the 888-558-5123 the same day to confirm the order and shipping information. On 7/8/10, I could get no answer from a person just a message that lines were busy called back later. I called again on 7/9/10 to get tracking information the person who answers the phone gave me verbally a USPS receipt number. I proceeded to track the package and the USPS system indicated invalid number. I called the 800# again the same day and I was told that the receipt number was correct. I asked him to email the infomation to my job. He indicated he had set it to the email address on file, I told him I was not at home to send it to the my job's email address. He told me he was the middle of something and he would send it a little later in the day. I never received it. That evening I checked my personal email. There was not a tracking number on the email (now I am really frustrated). I called on 7/10/10, finally got someone to answer the phone and again it was the same person. He then tells me that the package did not go out because there was a missing part to the basket itself????? I ask him why did he tell me it had shipped and why would he give a tracking# for somethindg that did not ship. I also, let him know that the tracking number was not on the email. He proceeded to argue with me and I told him it is in writing I can certainly email him what was sent to me. I explained that this was a birthday gift and the person who was to received it would be out of town on Thursday 7/15. I would like to make sure that either he gets it before he leaves or I know for sure where the package can be located. He told me there would have been no way that the package could reach its destination by 7/9. I remided him of the 2-3 shiipoing advertisement on the website he argue that point also and it became very confrontational. I told him I was not going to talk over him or allow him to talk over me. I would like him to give me the courtesy of good customer service and listen to what I had to say. He did, but responded to my point of view very angry. I then proceeded to ask again for the tracking # to my job email. When I tracked it again the next day it was sent out for delivery to the DC post office on 7/13 and was not delivered to the recipient until 7/15. This is the most unprofessional and frustrating situation I have ever had with a company. The Customer Service is POOR at best from the contact informtion by phone to the only person you seem to have to provide customer service. I will NEVER purchase from your company again. Since I believe the person who receives these complaints is the same person that I had this overwhelming expereince with I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.
