Premier Vacation Rentals Georgia Complaint - Bad Cabin Rental - Cabin Rental Helen Georgia

Review by Sumidara on 2010-07-22
CLEVELAND, GEORGIA -- Premier Vacation Rental of Georgia advertises that it is a member of White County Chamber of Commerce and Helen Chamber of Commerce. It is not. When asked how far the cabin was from town I was told 8 minutes. It was 20 minutes in total darkness at night. The driveway was all mud and gravel and scrapped the bottom of our cars when we put it into low gear to get ourselves up the hill to the cabin. The cabin's upstairs toilet ran continuously and I was told to turn it off so that the well would not dry up. The finished basement where 3 teenage boys were to stay, being separated from the girls, was full of insects. When the sofa bed was opened, there was a large blood stain along with dead insects all over the mattress. Spiders and ants crawled all over the floor as soon as evening came. The towels left for us to use were stained. The owner of the company refuses to compensate me in any way since we stayed. However we didn't realize how bad it was until the second evening and I called requesting a refund so that we could go to a hotel in town. The girl who took my call could not promise this. I have video and pictures of the cabin and after one person saw them suggested I call the health department. Beware of Premier Vacation Rentals of Georgia. False advertisement and horrible customer service. Be aware, the company still has all its old info on their web page even though they have moved their location, and has several different phone numbers.

Drop a note to: Office of the Attorney General, 40 Capitol Square SW, Atlanta, GA 30334 or call 404-656-3300 to report this. That might liven things up a bit for Premier.
