Century Motors of South Florida Complaint - Buyer Beware - 1997 Tercel

Review by willmull on 2010-07-23
If you happen to decide to buy a car from this dealer and I strongly encourage against it, make sure that you completely inspect the car inside and out, top to bottom, front to rear. I bought a 1997 Toyota tercel from this place and just happened to miss that both headlight brackets were busted until driving home and it got dark and my lights were shining straight down. Had to replace both headlights and the battery because it went bad also. Called and talked to Frank and got the typical runaround. If you buy make dam sure you go through Ebay. He marks his inventory up high enough that it doesn't sell on eBay and then sends out an email wanting to deal. That when the trap is set. Take my advice and think twice.

Excellent point, buyer beware, no matter what the purchase is. Though I must admit, I am now totally confused by the Ebay comment.

The car was probably originally listed on Ebay. When it didn't sell, the dealer wanted to make a "deal" with the interested party(ies).

I bought my last car on Ebay, it was local though.
