IRVINE CA -- I bought a Toshiba laptop and had problem immediately I was jerked around for months before they agreed to allow me to return it to fix, even though on my first call they admitted the units were bad. I finally returned it, they sent it back saying it was fixed, it wasn't and when I got it back most of the factory installed software didn't work, more weeks of getting put on indefinite hold, or getting cut off, six months pass, they finally let me return it again. it comes back with some things fixed and other things not working. I finally paid to get it fixed locally out of my own pocket $125.00, but now the mouse is broken and the computer tells me that the original problem with the cookies is back. these are junk and the arrogance of Toshiba corp is amazing. they actually include in the literature that comes with the laptop that you agree you canot sue them for not living up to the warranty. they have the nerve to dictate policy the the United States Court system. these people should be run out of the country. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A TOSHIBA COMPUTER. and stupid me this is the second one I bought and the second one I have had nothing but trouble with from day one! they also refuse to exchange it or take it back. I even wrote three letter to atushi murasawa the CEO and had numerous phone conversations with john kelly (one of the bigshots) and had a woman named karen claim she tried to contact me numerous time but was unable to so she "closed my account". I had a cell phone that records every number that calls, never did I get a call from her, only the letter telling me I was SOL
