Whirlpool - Expensive but subpar stove/awful service
commercial quality stainless steel gas stove, electric oven - Complaint
Bought Whirlpool gas stove for almost $2,000.00. Within less than a year, the overn door broke, such that we could not get the oven open or closed (again, has this happened to anyone else??). Anyway, since its under warranty, we called Whirlpool, who sent out their service people. They then called for parts. Over a month later, they have advised that the part(s) are on back order and they still can't get them. Maybe next month. However, they advised they can maybe get us a new stove, but that may take longer.
Are you kidding? Whirlpool is headquarted in this state and they can't even get parts in a timely manner out to customers??
Turns out this was an expensive, but crappy stove, with crappy service.
Do not buy Whirlpool.
