Save-A-Lot Food Stores Complaint - Hiring

TROY, NEW YORK -- Applied to save-a-lot food stores for a pt job. They said I had to apply on-line, and take a test. Website is corrupt. I called support (Spherion 1-866-344-2255). After explaining my case, they said I was wasting their time, and hung up.

So sounds like it wouldn't be a great place to work anyway. Lots of other places to apply.

If this is how they treat potential employees, I can just imagine how they treat an actual employee. You might be better off looking elsewhere

Try Aldi or Costco. I hear they are more likely to do right by their employees than a place like Target or Walmart.

Maybe it was your computer. If the site isn't loading right, and they have no problems on their end, what, if anything, can they really do?

Can you apply online in the store? If the site doesn't work on a store computer, you might be able to get an employee to help you. Target and other stores have at least one computer available for customer use.

very poor customer contact idc attiutude
the worst veggie dept I have ever seen meat dept meat is old and I believe its re wrapped.in general there a poor food store where I'm at.the only reason they get business is because other stores are 10 miles away and gas prices are up
