EBay Complaint - Zero Customer Service from eBay
EBay assures buyers that through eBay Buyer Protection they will "make things right" if the item you receive is not as described, etc. This is a joke. I filed a dispute because the product I received was not as described. I contact the seller to no avail, so filed an eBay dispute. Customer Service ignored my description of the issue and found in the seller's favor. I was allowed one appeal. The response I received indicates that whoever was looking at the issue failed to read what I had written because none of the specific issues I had were addressed. They utilize a "canned" response with such phrases as "I am sorry to hear that this has been a difficult experience for you. Based on what you have expressed, I completely understand why you are concerned with the outcome of this case." However, no recourse was provided and I'm out $84 for an unusable product. Seller could have returned mis-labeled item to his supplier, as I suggested to both seller and eBay. That suggestion was ignored by everyone!
