Spirit Airlines Complaint - Rip OFF!
They are horrible! I booked a flight for 3 family members to fly home on July 31st and changed it to August 7Th. I looked online and it was a $100 charge for each person. A bit steep, but I made the changes anyway. Then all went through and I realized they had no seats. So I proceeded to change it and they wanted to charge me again for seats, even though I paid for them in the original booking. Not only did I pay $300 more for the change but they are now charging me for more seats and he told me that once I cancelled the original flight I lost the seats and the money I paid for them. Now they are getting paid double for the seats and being allowed to rip people off left and right. Aren'T there laws against robbing people?? I don't understand how they get away with this stuff.. They once sold my seats right in front of me and my family to standbys and tried to brush it off. Now we have the option to check in online and I will never check in at the airport again!! Airlines have been ripping people off for years and getting away with it. There should be stricter laws against this!!! And I'm tired of calling India when I have to talk to customer service!! I can't stand dealing with these airlines and wish I never had to fly anywhere again!!!
