Ashley Furniture Complaint - Do Not Purchase Fabric Protection
HASBROOK HEIGHTS, NEW JERSEY -- I have had the same problem as others have stated.
1. Poor Quality- we purchased a microfiber sectional with recliner. The recliner section as worn, so you feel the wood under the your legs. I've used the recliner literally 20 times.
2. "Everything comes off microfiber" is not true. I have small children and a dog and this is a light colored couch (only color it came in). The only reason why I purchased it was because of the fabric protection plan, which, as someone else stated "covers everything".
I called and had to send the warranty repair agreement. They finally came, and the tech told my husband there was nothing they could do. He said it was not spots, and had to be replaced. My husband asked my 2 and 4 year old to leave the room. Gave the guy a piece of his mind. The representative proceeded to take some pictures. Then he told my hubby he left something in the truck and would be right back. HE LEFT!
They sent us a letter saying the couch was not covered because of accumulated dirt.
