We've been in business for a long time in metro Atlanta and we do superior work. In fact, we are the #1 rated moving helper company in the United States. You don't reach such lofty heights by not doing honest business on a regular basis. In this particular instance, the customer demanded an out-of-pocket, "under-the-table" cash settlement, changing the amount a few times before settling on $175.00. Instead of waiting for the insurance claim to run its' course, the customer became very impatient. She didn't like that I hadn't filed it right away. I do have a lot of demands on my time but it would have gotten done before any strict deadlines (30-60 days). We run into many customers that attempt to extort cash from us for a variety of reasons and we handle such attempts very seriously. I'm unable to comment any more on this matter as it could limit us in possible litigation proceedings against the customers for public defamation/libel. Thank you.
