Barclay Bank for Frontier Airlines Credit Card Complaint - Misrepresentation by salesperson in airport
I was rushing through the airport to catch a flight when someone stopped me to ask if I would like a Frontier Airline credit card. I said I did not need another credit card. The salesperson said that I would get a free flight just for applying for the credit card, so I said okay. I got the credit card and then found out that I needed to use the credit card enough to get 25,000 miles (which means I would have to charge about 25,000 dollars on it before getting the free flight). They misrepresented themselves and when I called to complain I was told I would need to use the credit card enough to get the 25,000 miles for a free airline ticket. Barclay Bank is getting people in airports by promising a free flight. I was never told I had to earn the points, just that I would get a free flight for applying for the credit card. I told them I would then cancel the account, which I will be doing shortly, since I do not need another credit card.
