Tampa Electric Company Complaint - No Concern For Their Customers
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- I have been with Teco for many many years, and have always paid on time. For more years than I can remember we have been on auto pay which occurred around the middle of each month. Recently we had to sell our home and move a short distance away to a more affordable home. When we got our bill the auto pay date had changed to the 5th of each month. I explained that my wife and I are disabled and receive our checks towards the middle of each month, and things get tight at the end and beginning of each month. I went on to explain I would pay whatever the charge to make this change, but we need the billing date to stay the same. The person I was speaking to, and her supervisor with total disregard to our needs could only say that that is how it is when you change zip codes and that is that.
We can not choose anyone else so I just wanted Teco to know that their total disregard to their customer needs to be known.
