Mexicana Airlines Complaint - Never, ever fly Mexicana
I booked four Mexicana tickets from OAK to Leon in January, traveling in July. Upon arriving at the airport, after checking flight info from home, found out the flight was cancelled and in fact had been for several hours - though they never updated the website. I waited from 10:30pm until 2am to rebook for three days later. Called the next morning to confirm the flight time, only to be told that I had no upcoming flights and should have handled the rebook at the airport; when I insisted I had and was told that to rebook I'd be charged $150 per ticket plus fare changes, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The CSR refused, and in the middle of my explanation of what had happened, he hung up on me. Two hours later, after 90 minutes on the phone with Orbitz on the phone as an intermediary, I was told I had been rebooked...for FIVE days later. Now I just attempted to check in, only to see that there is NO record of my flights, even though I have a confirmation email from Mexicana....a confirmation that shows this flight and a radical change in my return flights. But this confirmation is meaningless.
I am beside myself, having had Mexican ruin a dream vacation.
