Farmers Automobile Insurance Assn Informative - Farmers are SNAKES
You have a decesion to make, to purchase or be a part of Farmers Insurance Group. RUN, RUN and don't look back. As a long time agent they came to me wanting me to represent their company. I listened and thought, why not a national company like Farmers and the products they offer would be an asset to our agency and community. Boy was I wrong.
After a couple of years I and my clients found that this company was not very community and client motivated. They were into how much they could make and at whom ever they needed to run over. Nothing wrong with making a profit, but not at the overwhleming efforts and tachtic Farmers uses.
After I stopped representing them and my clients figured out why and continued to do business with our agency, FARMERS sued me and made me look like the bad guy. WOW, agents only sell the products and service them. Agents do not set the rates, settle claims and so forth. There is another site worth viewing about Farmers www.farmersinsurancegroupsucks.com it is worth viewing if you are thinking about Farmers in any copasity.

I have all my insurance with Farmers. Been with my agent for years. A lot of the insurance problems are with the agent, not the insurer.
Skye, JMHO, but first impressions, it sounds like a disgruntled employee, that failed to read his contract. More information would be helpful.

Farmers sucks. One of their clients rearended us and they want the body shop to do a half ass job on the car to save them some money.

Farmer's will do whatever they can to delay deny a claim. Zurich is their parent company and they along with other large insurance companies control pricing of repairs through ownership of most of the software that estimates the claim.
