ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- Two days ago we purchased these two cameras and a laptop from this store, and when we went home we realized we had grossly overpaid for everything. THe laptop which they claimed was new had scratches on the surface and there was a pop up asking to renew the anti virus. THe cover itself with Acer written on the bottom right hand had little dirty smudges which would have gotten there only from constant holding or use. We over paid for the Nikon camera by about $400.00 and the Olympus by about $100.00 when we compared it to others with the same characteristics. When we returned early the next morning, the salesguy and the Manager (apparently) were very unrelenting claiming that there was a disclaimer on the bill stating that all sales were final and that that there was a no refund, no exchange policy. If they were genuing people, would they have done that?! THey were very rude and even threatened to call the cops. We told them that we did not want the items anymore and that that we did not like the items purchased and wanted a refund. They refused. We did not actually see the bill until the items were already paid for, and at no time during their sales plight did they mention that there was a no refund or exhange policy. We did not discover that until the money was actually paid and the bill was in our hands, they claimed that the bill had to be signed to get a guarantee. I think consumers, especially foreigners who visit this place should be made aware of their policy and in fact should not even buy stuff there, because it is a ripoff to innocent consumers

This is, once again, where a consumer believes they're entitled to a refund. I don't know of any state which assumes the ability to refund a purchase. The initial transaction is, by law, considered final. Nothing has to be posted or written to make this policy binding. With normal, every day purchases, the only time a refund can be required is if the seller documents the option to the buyer. Technically, it can be verbal too, but good luck proving that. Only then does it become part of the terms of the transaction.
