AAA Complaint - AAA
I have been with AAA auto club for over 30 years as were my parents and grandparents before me. A representative came to the fire department where I worked and signed up several of us on a " Public Servant Appeciation drive!". We were guaranteed that we would pay only $25 for life. NO exceptions! Well after 28 years AAA Kansas City decided I was not in their "district" and transferred my member ship to Topeka. My rate went up to $ 55 per year. I called and complained and after cancelling they agreed to re instate me for $35 per year.
This year I get the renewal for $55. I called and golly gee they don't know who authorized this and tell me I now must pay the $55! And that is just the way it is. So what happened to my guaranteed $25 per year.
It seems that no one has to honor agreements anymore. I feel that I have been treated unfairly and that AAA is in breach of my original contract.
And who is listening?? NO ONE! I have yet to find a way to contact a corporate entity to complain. But I guess it would just turn out the same.
So Thanks AAA for taking my money for 30 years and suddenly not honoring ( and appreciating) your contract with a public servant!
And YES I did cancel my membership!
