NCO Financial Systems Complaint - Horrible - Account Collection

I have been called by this company 7 times, and each time, it's while I'm at work and I can't answer the phone. So I call the number back, give them my name and phone number, and EVERY TIME they say that my information is not in the system... THEN STOP HARASSING ME!!!

That's odd..have you asked them why they are calling you then?

Are they calling you at work, or are they calling you at home while you're at work? If they are not getting an answer or leaving a message, they can call throughout the day. But, once they make contact with you they can not continue calling that day unless you ask them to call back. If the leave a message, they can not call that same number back again, but they can call a different number in an attempt to reach you.

As for them not finding your account in their system. What information are they asking or you're giving for them to look it up? They should be able to bring it up my the telephone number they've been calling, they can bring it up by the 'reference' number, if they gave that to you on any messages, if the account is under your name with your SS#, they can bring it up by your SS...though, alot of people won't give their SS# and that's why they have the other options to look up your account.

It's also possible that they forwarded your account back to the client, if they were just collecting for them and didn't buy the account.
