Travelocity Complaint - Double Billed
February 5th 2010 I booked and paid for a hotel through Travelocity. On checking out of the Quality Hotet Olavsfaard, Norway, June 23rd I was billed again for the room. The clerk reversed the charges but my Visa statement shows that they were added again. The hotel claims that they were never paid by Travelocity. I have been calling the Travelocity Call Centre (off shore) since June 28th but with no results. I am promised call backs, I am told the Hotel never received the fax showing Travelocity's billing information and that it will be sent immediately. When I call back I get the same information. I will never deal with Travelocity again. I also found that it was cheaper to book the hotel directly than through Travelocity. I know what I would like to do with the "gnome"
