American Home Shield Complaint - Poor customer service & not covering "covered items"
I had two home appliances go out (garbage disposal & dishwasher). In review of my contract I noted that they were covered items, however I had them replaced (by myself so no cost incurred) and have the receipts. When called to review and determine course of action, I was advised that they would not be covered as I did not contact them first.
I was not looking for a full replacement as this is understandable, however no furhter review or discussion was going to take place with this company as they just flat out denied the claim with out finding out any details, speaking to me in behalf of any options or possible account reviews or such. No action taken on behalf of this company in which they are supposed to cover these appliances.
The customer service was horrible and the way that they speak to you was argumenative and repetitive about their processes and not about what is owed to the customer.
I feel that due to the situation there should be some resolution, however they will not even discuss matters to resolve the issue.
