Priceline.com Complaint - Hotels and Casinos Atlantic City Boardwalk
I have used Priceline.com in the past and it worked out great, but it does not work well in Atlantic City. When you name your price in Atlantic City, Priceline.com does not distinguish between a hotel and hotel/casino. They have a check box area where you can select what part of town you want, so I choose the boardwalk area and did the name your own price thing and ended up with a hotel that’s not a casino blocks away from the boardwalk, the furthest away from the boardwalk in that area in fact. The bottom line: Don't use Priceline.com if you want to be on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, especially if you want to stay at a casino. They do not differentiate between a hotel and a hotel\casino. I talked to a customer service representative and they told me all of the rules and condition like they have memorized it or they are just sitting there reading it. Every time I wanted to say something I could not get a word in, it was getting frustrating until I said, "Can I say something? Do you mind if I talk?” Only then I was able to talk. A very impersonal customer service experience, its just one step above a recorded message. They gave me a chance to listen to me, but I really don’t think anything I said meant anything to them. I honestly was expecting the quick "Thank you have a nice day, hang up the phone routine” if I haven’t spoken up. Talk about a rush to get me off the phone, that’s them! I will never, ever use Priceline.com for Atlantic City. Hopefully this will be my first and last customer service experience with them. I don't feel good about them anymore. This has changed my outlook about them.
