FootSmart Complaint - Beware of FootSmart
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE -- I had purchased shoes from FootSmart prior and when my Mother was very ill I ordered another pair to wear for the funeral. I did not get them for some time after the funeral and when I finally tried them on they did not fit. I called customer service to see if I had ordered a different pair as I wanted to exchange the shoes for the same as I had previously ordered. the customer service person (name withheld) acted as though I was interrupting her afternoon nap and stated their system was not set up to give me that kind of information. She either could not or would not help me. I returned them prior to the 60 day time limit and I received them back a month later stating I had returned them too late.
I have contacted the parent company, Benchmark Brands to see if they will see that I can return for a refund. My email stated I should hear from them within 24 hours I will let everyone know about my response. I feel I have not alternative except to contact the Better Business Bureau if I am not treated fairly.
