SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- We reserved a car on-line at Payless for an intermediate car. They offered us an upgrade but then did not charge us the on-line rate, instead charging us the walk-up rate. It is a total scam which cost us over $100.

When you took an upgrade you voided the reservation that was already confirmed.

Did you ask them how much it would cost before you agreed to the deal?
