HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Ever get a call from this number or one similar? On the other end is a pushy, rude, and often nasty sales person trying to convince you that you've won a vacation...and it only cost $300? I get a call about every 3 weeks from some company associated with Bass Pro, wanting to make me believe I have won a vacation....I am so tired of the rude and annoying sales tactics. I'm tired of telling them to take my number off of their list. I'm tired of all of it. But you know what I'm the most tired of? Knowing that Bass Pro could care less that a customer of theirs is being harassed. Wow...really makes me want to spend my money in their store. Know what? No one from Gander Mountain calls me...guess I'll have to go there instead. Seriously though, Bass Pro, have your scum sales team stop calling me. And don't give me the crap line about them not being associated with you. You let them in your store and allowed them to set up a table to confront your customers. Bottom line, you're involved and it's your responsibility to stop it.

it's probably a scam
which also means he's also probably lying through his teeth when he tells you he's associated with Bass Pro.
i'd suggest contacting the FTC
and perhaps talking to the police about being harassed via phone scams.

Did you fill out one of those win a boat entries? They had to get your from somewhere! I know if you fill those at at the mall (free windows, free bathroom makeoverm, etc.) you will get sales calls.
Maybe you can try calling BassPro directly and see if they can get it to stop.

It sounds like you entered some contest. It's tough to get them to stop calling after they get your number. Get called I.D. and answer your phone in a foreign language.
