United Airlines Complaint - Terrible Airline - Flight Canceled
The last flight from Denver to Fresno was canceled because of a missing crew member so we were stranded in Denver for the night. We were issued meal and hotel vouchers but stood outside waiting for the right shuttle for 45 minutes. No one would accept the hotel voucher; turns out the United staff issued us the wrong voucher. After the hotel issue was resolved, the next day we were stuck in L. A. for the entire day until 9 P.M. I've emailed a complaint requesting for compensation/ticket vouchers for missing work the next day but have yet to respond within 5 business days as they mentioned. Although my experience was unpleasant, my sisters were far worst than mine a week earlier when United staff in L. A. refused to assist. They were told to call customer service and when customer service agreed to assist, the United staff told then otherwise. They were stranded and we had to call 3 times until some sort of assistance was given. I would not recommend this airline for its poor customer service. You're directed to call but receive assistance from people in India who can't do anything for you.
