Carnival Cruise Lines Complaint - Bad Vacation

Review by mommieof2 on 2010-08-10
Me and my family went on a cruise this July to celebrate my birthday! It was a long awaited and needed vacation. While on the ship I complained about the smell of other guests because they were smoking marijuana and other smells. My complaint went unanswered and the sad thing is my kids were exposed to this. I am sure a lot of viewers may smoke and that's fine if that is your life but for those that don't its not fair for me to have to deal with it. Anyway, they did not "Entertain" my 2 kids as I was told by the agent and by the staff.

As a matter of fact they did not even know how to change the diaper bc it was on backwards when I picked him up. But anyway there is more but I think you all get the picture.

umm no I really don't get the picture. Carnival cannot control people smoking pot. Seems like an issue you should bring up to the people smoking the pot. So a diaper was put on wrong. So that means they didn't entertain your kids?

Cruise ships are pretty big. You mean the whole ship reeked of green, or just around your cabin area? Could have got an invite to dine at the Captain's table and sent him a whisper over the aperitifs, or asked the smokers to confine their tokes to onshore port excursions.

The only time I had a problem with smoke on a cruise was in the casino (should not have been there, There are plenty of nonsmoking areas to spend your time onboard.

I'm sorry you felt like your children did not enjoy Camp Carnival. How old are they?
