Benchcraft Homes Complaint - Benchcraft did not pay for the work provided

Review by contractoringa on 2010-08-10
DULUTH, GEORGIA -- I was hired by Benchcraft Homes to provide labor on several properties being built in Toccoa and Clayton. After working countless hours for this company, they have refused to pay the tens of thousands of dollars they owe. I have witnessed the same treatment of other contractors. Do not work for this company

put a mechanics lien on the property and it will tie it up before they can sell it or refinance.

Without reading Dan's comment, I was about to suggest the same thing. Putting such a lien on the title(s) provide you with absolute assurance, albeit delayed, that you will be paid.
