Alpine Electronics, Inc Informative - Alpine Mobile Security SEC-8448
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased an Alpine Car Alarm System (SEC-8448) from the Good Guys! with a life time warranty. It recently just quit working. The Good Guys! said they no longer carry the Alpine Alarm Systems because they have had too many problems with their systems. I tried to contact Alpine and have gotten no response.
I would like Alpine Electronics rectify and honor the life time warranty purchased through the Good Guys Store! The Good Guys! said the alarm system was burnt out and needs to be replaced. I would like Alpine to replace it with the same alarm system (SEC-8448) or one of equal value.

Alpine Electronics just plain sucks.
I bought an auto navigation system model NVE-N852A
and its given me total HELL.
Advertised as "The best there is" Obviously false advertising, I have to say from first hand experience - Alpine is not even on the score board, They should concider getting out of the car navigation market before they claim more victims. It dont surprise me one bit your alarm system dont work, as I have found the hard way, tghis company does not stand behind what they sell.
You may be intrested to read my complaint about Alpine products as well.
What ever you do - dont buy anything again from them and spread the word, its time they got taught a lesson. Boycott Alpine !!!

One other thing - Alpine knows how to play dumb,
and they wont take the system back> The dealer you bought it from will obviously blame you to avoid taking a hit. Like me - you have a fight on your hands --- retain a laywer, take thier ass to court.

Alpine systems are Garbage - there's no other way to say it. I would'nt use one of their systems if it were given to me for free.
If you've read my posts below, Alpine knows and is a master at playing stupid, after I took their ass to court, I got a brand new system of my choice, installed for free, at their expense,
taking the dealer to the side and threating to choke the living hell out of him if he did'nt comply, worked as well.
If your wronged by corporate America, you have to stand up. and fight these scumbags head to head. In the end, you will prevail.
