Alphamrooms.com Complaint - NON existant customer service

Review by unhappycustomer123 on 2010-08-14
I would not advise anyone to book with AlphaRooms.com
I called them to make an amendment to my hotel booking, there answer machine said the waiting time to be answered would be fifteen minutes, I ended up being on hold for 35 minutes at ten per minute, the lady I spoke to was dismissive of my enquiry and told me that the customer service department did not speak to anyone and I had send a email via their website.
I did as I was told and waited four days with no response or acknowledgement.

Anxious to sort my holiday booking I called again and was given the same speech about how busy they were and that my travel date was not a priority.
They refused to discuss my booking on the telephone.
This company offer zero customer service when you call them, there Customer Service line is costly with long waits to be answered and the staff don't give a dam, in fact the two people I have spoken to seem to have been on the same training course on how to treat the customer with contempt.

All inquires have to be by email which they ignore so your back to square one to call them again which will lead you nowhere again.

Why would anyone want to deal with a company who treats its customers like this ?

Don't waste your hard earned money, book with someone else and save on the stress.

Sounds like Expedia, Orbitz, and Priceline. Once a reservation is made they don't want to bother to any changes to it. Again, why not book directly with the hotel you're staying in?

This is why I book directly and not with third party contractors.
