WalMart Informative - Roll Backs? So What! Give Me Service!
MORROW, GEORGIA -- When shopping a store becomes exasperating, it is time to stop shopping there.
I have a small savings account at WalMart by being overcharged again and again and again. A savings account that I cannot collect on! Today, I was overcharged for an item yet again. This time, I went to customer service. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes, I asked if WalMart meets Kroger's policy of refunding the price of the item. The assistant manager responded, "I can't give it to you free!" I had much to say, particularly because of the demeanor and tone of the assistant manager. He even asked for an officer to come to customer service!
Kroger's pricing is comparable and in many instances less than many items at WalMart. Most importantly, at Kroger I am met with a smile throughout the store! Clearly, in an effort to monitor the effectiveness of their own internal pricing accuracy, Kroger rewards their customers by refunding the full price of any item that rings ups more than the displayed price and the customer keeps the item -worth your time to stop by customer service.
WalMart, your customers deserve your roll-backs! They also deserve effective and friendly service!
