HSA Home Warranty Complaint - Heating and Air Conditiong
Complaint
Review by Proud mom on 2010-08-16
We purchased a home in January 2010, in February we had heating problems. We were without heat for 3 days. They send out a heating guy and they replaced the coil in the unit, a couple of days later the motor went, they send out another HVAC company, the motor needed to be replaced. It seemed to be fine, however, the unit would never shut off, this inturn caused the motor and the blower wheel (squirrel cage) to actually burn into. We have now been without air conditioning for 9 days, and now they are not covering the claim because of faulty installation when it was there HVAC company that causeed all of this. We are now going to be out over $500 dollars to replace this, when it was their company that put in the wrong motor, and wrong brackets. Please whatever you do stay away from HSA they are very rude to deal with on the phone when you are able to speak to someone, they do not cover anything, and they are not moral or ethical. Please, Please do not waste your money or have your new homeowners upset with the biggest that a family can make.
