Hughes Net Complaint - Hughes Net Needs To Be Held Accountable
In January of 2010 I had Hughes Net installed. my complaint is when a company from tennesse installed my dish to my house, they literally installed it 3feet off the ground, so I can't walk under it, I have to go around it. I told the installer I wasn't happy with how low it was, but at the time my home was under construction and the installer knew I was intending to relocate my box inside my home to the new addition, so he said when the installers come to relocate my box to have them move up my dish too. well today I had the installers come to relocate my box and my dish. they informed me that when a dish is installed it should always be at the minimum 5ft off the ground, mine was 3ft. and the other kicker is my house had to be rewired because the inital installers never grounded the cables. so in other words my satelitte dish was like a giant lightening rod! I had to pay for a reinstallation fee and when I called Hughes Net they hold no accountability for the goones that they subcontract out to install these dishes. I have a problem with paying for 2 installs, the first one should have been done right. I talked with the supervisor and I got no where! I would to file some sort of class action law suit against this company..how can they hold no accountability! this is something that they need to be held accountable for. what if my home would have caught fire from being struck by lightening! how many other homes have there subcontracted installers done this to!
