Priceline.com Complaint - Inflexible cancellation policy
I have used Priceline for several years and have generally found the service valuable. However, in placing a bid on a hotel, you have no idea what you will get, which can be a problem. I have used the service for both personal and business travel. Recently a planned business trip had to be changed at the last minute due to factors well beyond my control. I spoke with agents at Priceline who informed me they would look into it. I called the vendors, who told me I would have to deal with Priceline. Later I received a standard business policy of no cancellation email response. I will no longer use Priceline due to their inflexible cancellation policy. There are many other travel sites which accommodate cancellations. I strongly encourage a boycott of Priceline until they come to their senses and change their cancellation policy.
