Westgate Lakes Resort Complaint - Horible Experience
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- We went on a trip to Orlando, FL in mid-January. What I witnessed and experienced was that what these people do is grab unsuspecting people off of the street and offer them discounted tickets to Disney World. All they have to do is go up the street for a 90 minute presentation, which includes lunch, and you get approximately $135 worth of tickets for $40. By the way, lunch was nothing but hotdogs.
These people have absolutely no intention of getting anyone out of there within 90 minutes. After, sometimes, a few hours of presentation, when you tell them "NO", they send you to a series of sales manager teams that try to hard sell you timeshares. And when you give them your final "NO", they are EXTREMELY RUDE, and send you on your way...4 hours later, where you get into another line for your discounted tickets. Then you go out front to wait on a bus that takes you back to yoru car, shere the tour began in the first place.
It is while waiting for this bus that I spoke with many other groups of people that had been scammed out of their entire afternoon. One couple, on their last day in Orlando, had agreed to attend one of these tours in order to receive discounted tickets to a dinner show. After 4 hours of touring and high pressure sales attempts, but the time the received their ticets, they were already late for the show that they actually got tickets for!!!
