T-Mobile Complaint - Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Experienced
I had T-Mobile service for less than a month. In that time I was mistakenly put onto the wrong plan, spent several hours on the phone with them trying to change the plan and eventually gave it up as a bad job. Of the dozen or so representatives I talked to, only two seemed to have any idea of how to deal with the problem. The rest were just working by rote and passed me on to someone else as soon as possible. In the process of trying to change plans, I also found out that they had "lost" over half the initial amount that they charged me for the phone and plan. One of their representatives (one of the two that actually seemed to know what they were doing) told me that that had been happening a lot lately and that I would eventually get that amount refunded to me but it could take up to 6 weeks. Then they told me I would need to get a new SIM card and that would be all it would take to resolve my problem and allow me to keep my old number. They put it in the mail and when it arrived, I tried to change to the new SIM card and was told that I would not be able to keep my current phone number without having a temporary number for a week. As this was completely unacceptable to me, I have changed to a new provider where I will be able to port the old number with no delay. I am delighted to think I will soon not have to deal with T-Mobile ever again in this lifetiime. I will add another review here if they are not prompt about returning my money after I cancel my service and return their phone.
